This is Striker, my original superhero I've designed. I'm currently writing a fic for here where she's a member of the Avengers. Whenever that gets finished I'll provide a link on this.

Codename: Striker
Name: Ophelia "Phi" Harris
Gender: Female
D.O.B.: February 24th, 1991

POWERS:
Her power is telekinesis on an atomic level, meaning she can basically control atoms. There are parameters and restrictions to this such as: usually she has to see things to manipulate them, with the exception being while healing people (inside their bodies). For someone such as Quicksilver (since I'm writing her in the Marvel universe), Striker would not be able to physically hurt him while he's moving at full speed. This does also include things such as bullets, etc. She also does not have the ability to create elements. She may know some basic molecule constructions but she hasn't studied or trained to be able to create things based on combining different atoms. She may be able to one day, but the amount of concentration needed would be exponential. She can, however, take something plastic and manipulate it into something new made of the same plastic for example.
How Striker usually uses her powers:
She got her name because she likes to manipulate electrons in atoms to create electrical charges she can use to offensively attack opponents. This can either be over a distance with something similar to a lightning bolt (with much less voltage) or during hand-to-hand combat to tear muscles on contact. The metal plates on the back of her gloves help with this.
For assassination missions, Striker can kill a target by simply preventing air from entering the person's body/throat or stop their heart. She studied anatomy extensively during her training at the CIA and it allows her to heal/harm people without seeing in them. She could, however, simply rip your body apart, but finds it inhumane and typically never uses it.
Striker can also make herself fly and others, but if she is more "familiar" with your atoms it's easier for her to control them. I guess you could say that is another set-back in her powers, in that, because she intuitively feels things on an atomic level, it makes moving them harder with more concentration. (Where someone such as Jean Grey can move whole objects and people easily). The more time she spends around things, the more their presence becomes familiar.
She is also well trained in hand-to-hand combat and guns which she does use often as to not mentally exhaust herself with using her powers.

BACKGROUND:
Since she was a baby, Ophelia "Phi" was raised by a division of the CIA. She's had her powers since birth (inherently making her a mutant) and assumes her parents gave her up. The people who raised her feared her powers and it made her determined to always use them for good - not wanting to become the monster they believed she could be. As she got older, and left her caretakers behind, her mentors became cold and cruel. They wanted to push Phi until she broke, seeing how far her powers could go and when she would lash out. She held onto her resolve not to kill unnecessarily and inhumanely. Eventually, soon after her eighteenth birthday, Nick Fury offered her a place at SHIELD on a team where she would be free of the CIA and its dark tendencies with her training. She stayed there for a few years before asking Coulson (temporary leader of SHIELD in Fury's absence) to join the Avengers.
/Striker's story takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and her story begins when she joins the Avengers. This takes place after Thor 2, Captain America Winter Soldier, and Guardians of the Galaxy but before Age of Ultron./

PERSONALITY:
Phi has a very open, happy personality. She didn't experience much of the world outside of the CIA base while growing up, and even at SHIELD was always busy with missions. Joining the Avengers is like seeing the world for the first time, similar to when Steve woke up from the ice. She fits in well with the team because she is different and similar to them. Her background allows her to understand Natasha's hardships. The absence of parental figures makes her sympathize with Tony but she also loves technology. Her extensive knowledge on biology allows her to fit in well with the two science wiz but her fear of how monstrous her powers can be helps her and Bruce get along. Her and Steve become friends quickly. This may be because his and Phi's morals on the world/humanity are really similar or because they're both very open and honest. He finds Phi fascinating because she's so different than women he's ever met and he finds her powers astounding, glad she's on the "good guys'" side.
Phi is honest with how she feels and thinks. She shows outward affection because she missed having it while growing up (even to Coulson). She fights with all she has, will do anything for the people she cares about, and loves without asking for anything in return - something all of the Avengers need.

I've already got a good bit of the story fleshed out but I can't keep writing until I can get my hands on Age of Ultron for specific lines and such for the rewrite.
